Hello everyone,
Today, I'm sharing an informative video I made about maritime rescue services, which are well-known in France.
In the waters of the Gulf of Morbihan, the National Maritime Rescue Station (SNSM) of Baden watches over our safety. Composed of 25 rescue workers and 50 dedicated volunteers, this team carries on a tradition dating back to 1873 and is at the heart of maritime rescue missions.
Captured during the 2024 Senethon, during the swimming event between Île d'Arz and Port-Anna in Séné, these images demonstrate the daily commitment of our rescuers. Created in 1967, the SNSM now coordinates local and regional initiatives throughout France. To continue protecting us and allowing us to enjoy the maritime world, the rescuers need everyone's support.
Funded 60% by private donations and corporate sponsorship, the SNSM can only continue its essential mission thanks to the public's generosity.
Enjoy the documented flight ;-)
