So I sold off my Inspire 1 Pro a year or so ago and my P4P last September and while I was hoping for a Pro Mavic with truly superior camera to the P4P the Air 2 will be a good holdover until a genuine replacement for the P4P materializes. Mind you, the Mavic 2 Pro was in some ways better than the P4P but in other ways barely equal -- it was not a genuinely superior drone in my book. So, 3.5 years after the P4P DJI has still not released a genuinely superior drone in the prosumer market. I had hoped a new pro grade drone in the prosumer class would emerge but so far nada.
Of course, now that I have an Air 2 on order I can expect DJI to release just such a superior drone shortly after I receive the Air 2 -- that's how this thing works. But, given the decent quality of the camera and the small size and reasonable price even a pro might have one for places a larger/louder drone might not fly so-to-speak.
Downloaded all the manuals and fliers (pdf's) and will be perusing them as I await the drone which, if the order page is accurate, should arrive next Tuesday.
