So the wife and I took a short trip to Orlando to chill at a resort for a few nights and I brought the Mavic. Not a single problem getting it through the airport..not a questioned asked.
I will say Orlando is not a great place to fly with all the helicopter tours going on. They where flying around the resort well under 200' We decided to get out of town and drove up to Lake Apopka and did get to fly over the water and some really nice scenery. Nothing really as a point of interest though. On the way back we saw the Orlando Eye and I decided to go back later that evening and try to get a flight in without all the copters around.
I Did get some cool photo's and thought I had some good video. I had a camera reset while doing the flight and it scared the crap out of me and brought it directly home. It was my first camera reset. I'm wondering if it had something to do with me switching from video to photo so many times. From now on I think I'll burn one battery on video and another battery on photos with out switching between the two during flight.
Anyway here is one of the photos I took.
The Orlando Eye is a 400 ft tall giant Ferris wheel near Orlando, Florida, US. It carried its first passenger on April 29, 2015. Since July 28, 2016, it has been known as Coca-Cola Orlando Eye
