Just bought one the other day. DJI built..... You Tube user explanation. Its just like the Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 Pro the I have bought. Why can't DJI come up with Easy user information for their "toys" instead of having others on YouTube do it for them? Had to go back to the dealer and show them that the information captions that display when you first begin using the Osmo 3, did not disappear, they just blocked the phones display and would not let you continue. The resolve for this is to deleate the Mimo3 software and reload it again. Anyone else have problems with firmware or software from DJI???

GoPro makes 2 cameras and then they immediately release a GoPro Studio to use for post production video processing. This program is fast simple and all you need to enhance your videos, without sitting in front of your computer for 2 days. DJI suggests you buy $200 Adobe PS. All Drones, Mobile gimbals, and probably their new GoPro like video cam come with their "Chinese" Quick Guides ( 2 Pages ) that I think even the Chinese have a hard time understanding.

I find video tutorials are more helpful to me than micro manuals which I am often required to use a magnifier to read. Here are 9 video tutorials I found which got me up and running with the OM3. The first 7 are from the DJI collection.

My Osmo 3 loaded up but I could not get it to show the camera. The gimbal was tracking but it had a info page that told me to grasp the upper gimbal arm, hold it, and move the camera side to side. Maked no sense at all. Why would it tell you to hold the gimbal from moving? I just started over and the second time I fired it up it required me to upgrade the firmware. After that it now works as soon as I turn it on and connect.
I did purchase a case that holds the Osmo, related cables, transformer the tripod. A little nicer than the Osmo case that DJI supplies.

Could you send a link to the case you got? Disappointed the DJI one is so small. Thanks. Also waiting for a GoPro adapter like the ones made for the OM2. Tried it on the 3, but will not work, unable to balance.

Yea you need to get the adapter with a counterweight (after market )

Has anyone tried to connect the osmo3 to a second phone on the same osmo.... you know to share this device with your significant other? Mine won't... seems like it always gets confused.

OK I'm new to these things and was wondering how to pause video then resume so it's all in one file?

Dronerdave is that really important? 1 file or 2 or 3 files , you can always cut and splice them together later

I can barely see my screen due to the light and I wanted to shoot video of high speed aircraft and send it to youtube from the site then send the link to our clubs web site. Editing at the site would be more difficult and takes up my flying time out there. My phone does a reasonable job as shown in the video but the pistol grip and trigger are very nice. I might look at the Story function.
