Part 107 and ID

Been off the forum for a few months and just now noticed discussions about Remote UD. Will 107 still be applicable with the new ID standards? That is to say, will there be testing about FAA Remote ID functions; and is the Remote ID a proposal or a mandate? And further, are these proposals or mandates applicable to ALL sUAS’s?

It's "just" a proposal but it's going to go into law in "some form" sooner than later.

Part 107 will definitely still be applicable.

Once it's finalized I'm sure future tests could possibly have questions regarding Remote ID.
