If you are on Android you can use Drone Harmony, this gives you the ability to plot waypoints and full automated flights on your PC or phone and have drone do whatever you want at each waypoint, including full camera control and drone movements including video or photos or point to a Poi. There are multiple pre planned flight types or free Hand plan your own and view in 3D.

How do you run DH on PC? Are you running on some sort of emulator(s) and if so which one would you recommend? One more question

once the mission is designed on PC how do you transfer it to the Android device?

You cannot plan waypoint missions with DroneHarmony on a PC yet. They have promised it as an upgrade. You can plot areas you are interested in and plan flights automatically to photo or video them. Simply plot an area in Google earth ( a KMZ file) and then copy it to your phone , import to DH and use DH to plan the mission.
