Phantom 3 standard for $375, is this a good deal?

Hello, someone is selling a very little used DJI phanton 3 standard for $375. I am wondering what peoples opinions are about this drone and if that is a reasonable price for it.

@DEads this is the basic phantom does not have a lot of range no occusync its bulky to transport about but in its day it was a good way to get into the hobby with a 3 axis gimbal drone also there is no obstacle avoidance ,flies well, and can be flown in atti mode which is good fun ,landing in breezy conditions can be interesting as it is very easy for it to tip over if the wind catches it as it touches down due to the high stance ,how do i know these things ,used to own one a while ago

Personally in 2020 I don't think this is a great deal. For about the same money (or less), you can get a used Spark, which has similar capabilities (minus 3-axis gimbal). If you find a similar deal in a Phantom 3 Pro then I would go for it. Otherwise chip in a little extra and go for a Mavic Mini or Mavic Air/Mavic Air 2.

I sold mine soon after getting a spark as the spark was light years ahead of the P3 and I knew I would probably never fly the P3 again. It was in perfect condition and I sold it to a friend for 250

That would've been a good deal 5 years ago, but for about the same price the Mini has a better camera/gimbal system, better range and can stay up in the air longer and helluva lot easier to carry around.

Thanks! Ill pass for now. I just bought a Mavic Air 2 a month a go and was thinking if I could get another good drone cheap I would jump on it lol. Doesn't sound like this is the deal I am looking for though.

Why would want that big of a downgrade? Actually, before the Mini was announced I almost bought the Power Egg drone for about the same price ($399). So glad I stayed away from that monstrosity. LOL. That Air 2 is a blast to fly with a very capable camera. I would just keep flying it while waiting for M3P announcement.
