Photo numbering

Hi everyone, hope someone can help. I have the Air 2s, does anyone know how to get the photos to continuously number, instead of resetting back one. With my Mavic Pro 1 you could change the numbering to continuously.

Hello Bsnyder:

I suspect you’ll soon get a definitive answer from someone with an Air 2s. With my Air 2 I think the numbering sequence is related to formating the micro SD card - each format seems to restarts the sequence.

DJI Go 4 has many features that were left out of DJI Fly.
Being able to select Continuous or Reset for the File Index Mode is just one of them.

And this is the reason I don't format my SD cards unless I have to lol

While i haven't tried it you may be able to leave the last file on the SD card to keep the numbering sequence. If you like to format your card each time you move the files to your computer you could create a blank text file, rename it to the previous last file name/number (i.e. DJI_1234.jpg), then copy it to the SD card. Either method may fool the software into starting the numbering where you left off.

Elegant? Certainly, not.

In the Mavic 2 Pro, I believe there was a setting for preference of numbering between re-set and continuous. I use reset and have not looked at it since I did my original settings a year ago. I format the SD card every single time after a shoot.
