my pictires now seem to be thumb nail. when i upload them to adobe for slide show they are really grainy.

Are you sure you're pulling them from the SD card, and not from the controller?

i pulled my SD card out - installed in a card reader and downloaded it to my computer

i had to do a software update on my controller and drone, i will try it again.

What location are downloading from? If not directly from SD card, try that. I remove my SD card and download from a USB card reader.

Aren't all the files off of the controller lo res unless you download them from the drone itself via bluetooth or the SD card?

I believe there are two locations for images on the controller. One is of the thumbnails used for viewing on a controller and the other is the actual high resolution files.
