Polarizers and filters

Does anyone use any kind of polarizer or filter on their setup?

Pros/cons?

I notices when i was out filming the other day, if the sun hit my camera JUST right, i got these weird jittery lines on the image. Are those still an issue with a polarizer?

I have used ND filters on sunny flights to help reduce the light coming into the sensor so that I can adjust the shutter speed to around 1/60 for that cinematic effect. The jittery lines you discuss are usually the result of sun hitting the propeller blades and the shadow being cast across the camera lens. In my experience a polarizer does not help with that, as they reduce glare etc...
