Pont de Llierca (La Garrotxa, Pyrenees, Spain).

The bridge has a size of 52 meters, paved with sandstone slabs. It has a single arch that rises, at its maximum point, up to 28 meters above the waters of the river that gives its name. On both sides there is a solid stone railing. The total width does not exceed three meters, space where people, cattle and goods passed. This bridge corresponds to the medieval type, which consists of a construction of a half-point arch made with voussoirs , two slopes called the back of the *** , and pillars and walls raised with limestone at each riverbed, united with mortar of lime and sand.
