Poor photo quality. HELP

Ok, I'm new here and want to get some nice photos with my air. I have searched you tube and changed my settings and also shot raw, but my photos are terrible. Can someone recomend settings for both sunsets and basic landscape?
Or, is it better to just shoot in the auto settings? The videos are beautiful but the stills ARE terrible.

There are no magic settings that make for better pix.
You need to use settings that are appropriate for what you are shooting.
It's hard to suggest without knowing what you might be doing wrong.
Post some examples.
