Anyone else flying drones in Ascension Parish ?

Prairieville here. I'm not flying nor have I ever flown...not drones, anyway. I got my private pilot's license back in the day. I was seriously considering buying a Mavic Air 2. However, before jumping in, I wanted to test the waters and ask about good places to fly in the parish, etc. Thoughts?

I'm in Prairieville/Gonzales area myself. Usually I go fly around the fair grounds off Airline Hwy. Other than that I have flown around the Alligator Bayou and Bayou Paul area. I haven't found many public places myself around that people don't run you off. I usually have to use private land or use it on vacations when we rent cabins, etc..

I’m up in north Denham springs and just got a mini 2. Will be flying around but would love some cool spots to fly and film
