All I know is that with the Mavic or Phantom I can send them 200 feet up and 1/2 mile out, put my controller on the ground and go take a piss. Come back, pick up my controller and continue on my way. Doesn't get much simpler than that.

its obvious it will fly right out of the box,the real question is how long will it be airborne without hitting something.

Cars can drive out of the box. There was a news report of a child driving a car to McDonald’s.

Driving...and flying are very easy.

Knowing the laws and being able to not endanger yourself, the UAV, other people, or property is not something that happens “out of the box.”
