I think I know why I was having device startup and shnut down problems - have to do the double tap - a long press with the short press before hand does not turn power on/off. I was unable to update DJY Fly over wifi - but cell phone data connection worked fine. Oh, Google Play seems to be back a generation - went to DJI download center to get 1.2.2 version of DJI Fly. So, between the old version on google and the wifi problem that took awhile to figure out.
I've cycled through a couple startup and shut downs successfully and raised AC off ground - all seems good - BUT what is this option about opening DJI Fly when DJI RC-N1 is connected? Does 'RC' refer to remote control? What is 'N1'? Why the heck did did they use the same 'RC-N1' name for their sun shield? Very confusing, but now I think DJI Fly is just asking if the remote control should automatically, if connected to a mobile device, start DJI Fly on the mobile device - right?
