Great, I was thinking in the first one since I have the fly more combo bag. But this is great.

I just picked up a case for the mavic and controller, as linked above, from Amazon; they're perfect for protecting while in the backpack...

I have a strip about a foot long of Velcro and just wrap it right around. Did that after the first time I tried to remove it from the More Fly bag and a prop went sideways making it almost impossible to remove.

I use one of my wifes soft expandable hair bobbles, looks far neater on the drone than on her head!

My response was going to be that I could make it more complicated.... but I can't. I've seen people selling Velcro straps and the like and to each their own but..... well, let's just say I know a place where I can "get" them for free.
