Question about waypoints

When setting up a waypoints flight......let's say with 5 waypoints....If I start recording at WP1 and I want a picture at WP3...I know to change the camera action to take a picture....but to resume recording video I have found it necessary to set up a separate WP adjacent to where I took the picture and then set the camera to start recording from that point...is this "the way it's done"?

You don't have the possibility to stack waypoint actions on the same WP?

For instance when arriving to the WP videoing...

1 Stop videoing
2 Timed delay to stabilize the drone (do you have a similar action with DJI WP? Litchi have it...)
3 Take photo
4 Timed delay (give some time to finalize the photo storing process)
5 Start videoing

Just played with creating a plan offline. While you cannot stack actions, while recording is active, you can select Take Photo as the camera action for following waypoints, and then at at a later waypoint stop recording.

What actually happens? Won't know until I put the bird up and test it. However it's entirely possible for the imaging pipeline to process both a video frame, and a jpeg still from the image data, if it has the capability.

That's what we want.
