Issue: one of my toggles is showing as roughly 10% off in two directions (up and right). When I calibrate it, it gives the completion message, despite the one toggle remaining off-centered even after rotating it fully in all directions multiple times. Yes, I do notice that the opposite direction does not fully go to 100%, but when I release the toggle you would think there's a -%, such as -98%? Currently, the opposite directions show 0%. When I have rotated all three things (two toggles and dial), the calibration completes. So it's all good, right?

Then, when I go back into the calibration window, the toggles show as 0% all around, until I move that one toggle again, after which it shows the same two directions being about 10% off. Complete the calibration, go back to the fly window, and try to fly.

When I fly my Mini, I notice the one toggle being off creates a tendency to fly accordingly (obviously), and I don't like that. I want it to truly hover, like it did when I first got it, not slowly turn and veer off.

Every time I power on the RC, it starts beeping rapidly (indicating that it needs to be calibrated. I know this, because when I start calibrating the RC the beeping stops). I go through the same process, and that one toggle is still off.

I did not have this issue when I first started flying.

This toggle issue has only shown up since I updated to the latest firmware (I used the desktop app, DJI Assistant 2). I don't remember the RC beeping after I powered everything on after the update (I didn't fly it), but I am certain that the calibration/RC beeping issue only started occurring after the most recent update, and I definitely had to deal with it when I went out on my first post-update flight.

Is there a way past this currently, so I can have my toggles all showing 0% after being calibrated?

Try refreshing the RC firmware again, sometimes it does not load properly in parts

Is this the same firmware that I recently updated when plugging in the drone, or is there separate RC firmware? See my screenshot that makes it seem there is no way to update the RC firmware...

If it's separate, how do I go about updating/refreshing it on the RC?

Ok, rookie mistake! (This will be good for other new users to know.)

It makes total sense now, but I didn't know what I didn't know.

If you are using the desktop DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic to update the firmware, you have to do it separately for BOTH the drone and the RC. (If you do it through your mobile device and wifi, it can all be done in one shot.)

I used the desktop version, since I felt safer with the hardwired connection for the update vs wifi.

I had failed to update the RC.

It kept beeping after I updated to the 2nd newest firmware, but when I went to the newest (and same as the drone), and then proceeded to calibrate the RC, the beeping stopped.

I turned the RC off and on again, and no beeping this time!

Yay!

If you have more than one battery, these will also sometimes need a firmware update, keep an eye out on the first page of DJI Fly for the message to upgrade before you enter the camera view
For each different battery you'll need to close and restart DJI Fly to get the battery upgrade message
