RC not connected to mobile device after replacing button board

Hi
I have the Mavic Mini original and the micro usb port got damaged on the remote so i replaced the button board, since then i receive error in DJI FLY app RC not connected to mobile device.
The drone is still bound to remote as i can manually start the blades by pulling the sticks in and move the camera but no live view, i have multiple devices (ipad,samsung tablet,samsung phone) and have tried new cables which all worked before.
Things i have done

New cables apple and android
removed apps and reinstalled
Installed on devices not used before

Controller model MR1SS5

If anyone has a clue as to what has happened it would be much appericated

When you connect a microUSB cable from the charger to the controller, does the controller start to charge?

Yes it sure does like it did before hand

DJI controllers are a bit tricky to work on. Open it up again and check all the connections, look for anything that looks out of place. It just takes one ribbon cable to be at the wrong angle to create these kinds of problems.
