RC not connecting to mobile device

Yesterday I went to fly my Mini at my daughter's place 110 miles away. Set up everything but dji fly app would tell me "RC not connected to mobile device" ! Tried another micro USB cable, restarted the app but still wont. The air temp was 100 (38 celcius) . Could that be like a protecting feature when it is to hot outside ?

It might be possible that the mobile device (what was it?) was itself too hot and refused the connection. Sheesh that does seem hot for Montreal area!

Ya this is an historical high temp for my area comming from mid USA. I am using Ipad mini 5. But i also brang my P4P along the same day and had connection !
