RC pro controller not powering up

When i power the RC pro, it shows the DJI home page and goes off immediately but when plugged to a power outlet, it powers on and stays on except when you pull out the charging cable, it then goes off.please any ideas on what is actually going on

If you have an external battery you can run the controller that way until you get the new Battery you need installed.

Also to mention, even when powered to external battery, when it heats up or used under sunlight, it keeps shutting down both when connected to the external power and when you disconnect the usb cable but the battery icon indicates charging and the battery percentage increases and holds up

In that case I would send it for repair. The bad battery could be causing it to overheat. but to be safe I would have it looked at.

Repair, if under warranty. If it were me, I would would open the case up and inspect the batteries, fans, and connectors. But then, i have a lot of experience opening controllers without damaging them, which I won't go into here.

Get the battery (internal) replaced .
