rcn1 factory reset or downgrade

hi all, i have bought an rcn1 from a guy who used it earlier on a mini3 .. i want to use it as a reserve for an air2, now as am binding it the camera view will not show and it states that binding failed because of firmware mismatch .. the air2 is on an old firmware and i donot want to update it.. so my only way is to try to downgrade the rcn1 by the way it is called on the back djirc231(i searched this it seems to be the same as rcn1 or just another name of it) , now the way to go is probably via dji assistant2 where a certain version of it allow to modify a file via note pad it is called default setting .ini file ...(the guy in the video mentioned this to allow upgrade\downgrade the drone but seemingly it may apply to the rcn1 too??)... here is the video where my idea generated from ..

now not to try a lot .. if there is another method please any one is free to post it here..
if some one can help me with the links : i need the link to an old version of dji asstant 2 since the one i downloaded from dji does not have the default setting .ini file to edit it..
and a link to the rcn1 firmware file version 04.12.0056 as mine is on the latest version now as i stated!!

You may have luck on the DroneHacks site or GITHUB . But the way you are going about it is the only way I know of.

Already asked D-H support this question (over 2 years ago) and the answer was "...D-H hacks are installed to the drone - not the controller..."

Have you tried using DJI Assistant 2? With the RC-1A/1B it was (and still is) possible to reflash and downgrade the controller firmware separately from the drone.
