Remote ID for Mavic Air 2

Forgive me for coming back with this one but I need a little help. I now know I have to get the appropriate firmware update from Assistant 2 and I bring that up on my MacBook. I then have to hook my MA2 up to my MacBook and presumably it just goes across-should I have my RC attached too-presume not. Have to say I thought that as I check for regular firmware updates for my drone and RC I would have got the new firmware anyway-I have deffo not got Remote ID….yet!. I am fully up to date with 01.011600 for the drone and 04.11.0400 for the RC. If anyone can give me a bit more detail or even better a You Tube vid (which I have scoured) would be very grateful. Not a good time to be asking as everyone will getting the Mrs’ present wrapped!
