Remote Settings? vs Goggle settings?

if I change setting through Ipad will or can those settings be changed on the googles? or when setting changes were set using the ipad will this be the master change device?

i.e. if I slow down the gimbel movement say on the remote with the gimble tracking on the goggles be less reactive or smoother?

or is there a master driver to the settings?
