Greetings all.
Yesterday I tried to fly my Mavic Air for the first time in 4 or 5 months.
Did everything by the book.
Fully charged Batteries and Remote.
Set drone in my usual spot.
Turned on Remote.
Turned on Drone. Noticed I had 15 Satellites.
DJI Go started to show on my Galaxy S9.
Had to try and connect manually with "Enter Device"
Did everything by the book.
Re Calibrated.

However, I could not get the Controller to change from Red Light to Green Light even though the drone was flashing Green Light.

I was able to manually lift the drone off the ground to hover about 1 meter off the ground, and was able to manually land again with the slide function on my phone.
That was all.
With the Red Light still displayed on my controller, I had NO toggle action what so ever.

Any ideas for an old man who is not that tech-savvy.????? PLEASE

Thanks if you can assist.

Relink the controller to the aircraft

If you see number of satellites, and can launch the drone, then your controller is linked to the Air.
Or were you using Wi-Fi mode on the Air (I think the original Air had that capability)? If so, switch Air back to RC mode. Should be a switch or button on the Air to change connection mode.

Thank you very much. It was so simple. Have just completed my first flight in 6 months.
Very grateful here.
Can't wait to get overseas again for some magical photos and Videos.
