Replacing flat ribbon cable on Mavic Mini

I received a new ribbon cable via Amazon. The cable does not have the glue tabs. The product photo on Amazon website shows the peel-away glue tabs along the cable but there are none on the unit I received. Should I send it back or is there an easy way to deal with this issue?

You could apply your own double sided tape.
That I remember there might be alignment marks on the drones middle shell and possibly fold marks on the ribbon cable, if so try to align the cable correctly. Don't press a sticking points firmly home until you are certain the alignments are correct.
If you have to lift the cable, heat from a hair drier may help.
I also recollect that the job is easier if you at least displace the drone's main board.
