I finally got the right person to talk to in live chat. My replacement Drone should be landing this evening. One happy dude. All being well I'll be reporting on a successful maiden tomorrow.

ps dont forget the clear shrink wrap outer wrapper must be on the box

i hope the weather where you are lets you get in the air tomorrow ,i have just charged my 4 batteries for my MPP to fly tomorrow as well, here its a mixed bag not much wind but the odd shower here and there ,then Monday it looks good for the MM to fly very light winds and some sunshine ,but of course that can all change so fingers crossed

It's looking dry here with around 8mph winds gusting to around 12-15mph. So it'll be an upwind flight with a downwind return using the mini.

I now have a fully updated and operational mavi air 2. It's a noisy little bugger when it's updating isn't it, beeping and farting. Moral, make sure your new purchase has the cellophane wrapper on the box.

Successful mavic air 2 maiden. I like this one a lot. Longest flight was 8.6km lasting 24 minutes. I put it through its paces from slow tripod mode to sport mode. Climbing, descending, fast carving turns. Almost but not quite had a misshap with some steeper than it looked rising terrain. I just eased off on the forward right stick and pulled back on the left and up it popped. I was surprised by how cool the battery felt after all the hooning about. Definitely need to read the idiot guide and get some filming done. My Brother also maidened his gopro Karma he's had sat in the loft.
