Wow. I'd not seen that before, and I spent a lot of time in Cornwall in my youth. The mind boggles at the sheer engineering involved. What were they defending themselves against?

For some reason it reminded me of that old saying, "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you"
