They are neither rare or endangered. Around here they are as numerous as people and have adapted to humans amazingly well. It is not unusual to see a pack of them walking down the street, through yards and take little notice of humans and the machines we use. There sometimes are so many in the road, that a divided 4 lane highway can come to a standstill and they have no problem being just feet or inches from a running car or motorcycle. I doubt drones at the distance shown above do any disturbance to them at all.

Great photo These guys are all over Florida ,Texas and Georgia .I can't imagine a photo or two would bother them .Nice job
