Sandisk Extreme

That's the one I'm using. For the record, the write speed is 60MB/s, and it's the write speed that is important. I have had one gimbal freakout at the 4G cut point, but I have no idea yet if that is related to the card. Otherwise it works fine for me.

Thanks for that. I'm having gimbal freak outs all the time. Doubt it's card related but will see when I try this one

Is it ok to put the memory card straight into the mavic and format it through the app? Or do I need to format it a certain way on a PC first?

I use a 64GB Sandisk Extreme Pro, which works exceptionally well in the Mavic, I am sure the Extreme will work just as good as it has good write speeds, I always format directly from the Mavic,

The extreme is what came with my Mavic. After doing a quick search I found some posts about UHS-II not being compatible or something, so just wanted to make sure the 'A1' bit was ok

Will a regular SanDisk work that is labeled U with a 1 in the middle? The one that came with it has U with a 3 in the middle

Cool. I have a 32GB hanging around I thought about using instead of the 16 GB that came with the mavic. Just wondering if it was also compatible. Appreciate it. Thanks

I will usually format my SD card in the Mavic with the GO4 app every few flights, after I am sure I have copied off all the photos I want and to make sure the card is cleaned up for new photos. I don't think flight records are stored on the card. I think they are stored on the DJI servers, cause I can sync my flight records between my iPhone and my Mini4 via WiFi when the Mavic and Controller both are turned off.
