Wtf? The reason I bought the mavic was for mountain biking. Most of it is on forestry land. Buy there can be no one about for miles. Total rubbish.

I assume it's only landing and taking off they regulate as that's all they can regulate?

I guess its the normal sweeping rules instead of trying to be a little more specific...

Is there no way people could get them to add a common sense rule in there. Seriously doesn't make sense in all areas. Some are hardly used and the risk would be minimal

I get the picnic and beauty sites, but common sense must be the better option. Recently I was up a mountain in Pitlochry area and would have pi$$ed me off to have a drone buzzing about at the top when people were taking in the awe inspiring views.... But the rest of the trek who cares.
