I have both the RC and the RC Pro. On the RC you can save the Screen Recording by default to the external card but you can't on the RC Pro. Is there anyway to change this?

Have you formatted the microSD card in the RC Pro from the RC Pro? That will enable writing to the card, which would be necessary for recording to it. However, the write speed of the internal storage is likely vastly superior to the write speed of any microSD card, which may be why it isn't enabled, if you can't find a way to do it. Screen recordings can then easily be moved after the flight from internal storage to the external storage to free up the internal storage for th3 next flight, and then copied directly at the end of the day to a desktop from the RC Pro via a USB-C to USC-C cable, avoiding ever removing the internal microSD card.
Theoretically, whatever the DJI RC can do the RC Pro can do better. Must be a performance issue where screen recording to internal storage is far faster because of a faster write speed than to a slower microSD card. Therefore, DJI disabled it. Same for the video cache, which must also be written to internal storage.
Easy to copy from internal to external storage immediately after each flight, where write performance is no longer an issue.
