shooting video in 4k

hi peeps just a question when recording video from the drone using the setting 30fps 4k and then when you dump that to laptop windows 10 it becomes an mp4, which brings me to my question is that mp4 video then a true 4k video?

mp4 is just a file format. An mp4 can contain any resolution of footage so an mp4 file might be 720, or 1080 or 4k.

If you get the file properties (right click on windows, chose properties then details tab) you should be able to see the resolution.
