Shutter and video buttons not working

I have a new Air only a week old and noticed that the two buttons on the rc don't work. The only way to get photos and videos is by pressing the button on the app. Is there a setting I'm missing? TIA

Problem solved. In the Remote Controller Settings the C button was set to Navigation instead of Camera
