The Bregenzer Ache flows between Hard and Bregenz into Lake Constance. When the snow melts in the Alps, the river carries a lot of water; at the moment very little is flowing.

In front of Lake Constance is the village of Kennelbach at the end of the "Bregenzer Wald".
