Smart Controller sticks

We came from Phantom 4 Pro's & now have Mavic 2 Pro's but found the control sticks to be very short compared to the Phantom ones. So we have asked a local machine shop to make us longer control sticks with the old adjustable stick tops form the Phantom controller. I think this should help with smooth flying.

Here’s the screws I make for the smart controller. Takes about an hour and a half per set. Old style lathe and milling machine, not computer controlled.
I don’t make any money with them, but it helps the folks on the forum solve a problem.

Yup, the extenders on the SC have really helped smooth out some of my movements. Available at Amazon for $20.

Sir, are your homemade screws long enough to allow for a bracket?

If so, I would be interested in purchasing a pair from you. My eye bolts work fine, but the heads are a bit too large.

The screw length on mine are 3/8 inch of thread.
I can make them 1/2 inch long if needed.

The eyebolts that you have in my opinion are not a very good fit as I remember because of the way they were made. The thread is too loose in my mind. I just don’t remember what brand name they are.

Does anyone know if extended sticks fit in the storage area of the Smart Controller?

The ones I currently use are 27/64″ 0.421875″ inch (M4X10 304)
Looking at the photo you posted in March

my plate is no thicker than the one pictured.

So if the screws pictured are 3/8, they should work fine.
