4 Pro south dakota

Nice video. However, it seems a little on the dark side. Were you using filters by chance?

thank you. i used an nd filter, but the exposure was good. i darkened it in davinci to get a true black for better contrast and color like i would with a photo, and also had to work pretty hard to pull the brighter skies back. i'll look at brightening up the darker tones next time.

mavic 4 pro drone footage from around the black hills area of south dakota.

I liked the video- I also agree that it was on the slightly under-exposed side, but easily corrected in post. If you were darkening on purpose, I think it went a bit too far.
Have very often considered doing a photo trip to South Dakota Badlands. They are very beautiful. Were there any problems using the drone there?

DID YOU SEE THE BIRDIE ?
i did, it was an osprey. i was hoping he didn't want to tussle with my drone.

thanks for letting me know, i'll work on not darkening it so much next time.
the badlands are beautiful and well worth the trip, but unfortunately you can't fly there since it's a national park. the video clips were taken around the custer state park area, where you can fly a drone. there's a few places north of the park near mt rushmore where you can't fly due to helicopter tours, so do your due diligence before flying in the area.

here's a non-drone photo from badlands national park:

That is certainly a beautiful image with great detail in the shadows and the layering gives a three dimensional look to it.
