My 15 year old grandson always outshines me with his videos. Here's one that he made of his family trip to Maine in July.
He has real talent. I’m still cautiously developing my skills with 2S with 5 flights done.My 15 year old grandson always outshines me with his videos. Here's one that he made of his family trip to Maine in July.
Great video. My 15 year old grandson always outshines me with his videos. Here's one that he made of his family trip to Maine in July.
He is a registered user with the FAA and the drone has his registration number. Yes, he completed TRUST before his trip to Maine; but, I do monitor him for following the rules. On this video he stayed away from people on the beach shots. He did pretty well near the amusement park staying off to the side. I did comment to him when he flew directly over the rides once.Great video.
Kids who grew up with a game controller in their hands and still have great eye to hand coordination (unlike some of us older ones) can go some awesome flying.
I do hope your grandson also knows the basic rules of droning. If he hasn't done the TRUST, then that is something being required of ALL drone pilots and having the cert with them when flying.
Cool on all points. Get them trained early to know / follow rules for droning. He is a registered user with the FAA and the drone has his registration number. He does call me when he plans to fly in a new area. Example, I checked out that it was ok to fly over the State Capital in Albany NY but it was not ok to fly near the Bush compound in Kennebunk Port, ME. This coming year he plans to start a Drone Club at his school to promote fun but safe flying.
