It was a perfect day for flying, having great visibility & zero wind.
Then all of a sudden - it wasn't

Youtube has said that because of the soundtrack I used, it might not be visible in the USA or Canada!
Hopefully it'll still work as an embedded video

According to the GPS logs, I was at 59m at the time of the incident, which I thought would have been safe.
I obviously didn't take account of how big that massive tree'd sandstone ridge was - my bad

Good reminder (for me at least) is to double check that RTH height and then add 10 meters just in case. Glad you got her back and are up and running again! ??

Hope you didn't take any offence, none intended. I have learned to factor in a good safety margin even if I am flying in an area that I know well. Stay safe!
