I am hoping to shoot in SPORT mode so it allows for fast forward/reverse and descent... yet make stick left/right (or yaw rotation) is initially not as responsive- I'm attempting to film Travis Rice(snowboarder) coming down the mountain and he goes very very fast lol.

I've made some adjustments in the EXP zone of the SPORT mode. But It's that YAW/pivot I'm really trying to slow. Is this under the Sensitivity settings? I've got that set to 50 currently...

In the past I've been going backwards and descending at full SPORT mode then I'll accidentally pivot (YAW) the drone and the shot is ruined.

Flying first light tomorrow, already dark here now. Any advice is appreciated.

I've been trying out the exact same mode... This are my settings.

1. Make sure you're already connected to the Mavic and everything is on. Turn the switch to "Sports" mode.
2. On the DJI Go 4 app, go to: MC Settings > Advanced Settings > EXP, and make sure the flight mode on top says "Sport" and not "Normal"
3. Set the Yaw/Rudder right/left in EXP to 0.2
4. Go to: MC Settings > Advanced Settings > Sensitivity
5. Set Yaw Endpoint to 50%
6. Also set Brake to 50% to reduce the sudden pitch up when slowing down

You may need to try setting this more than once since I've encountered a bug in DJI Go 4 for android that even when I'm in Sports mode, the settings under EXP still showed up as "Normal", so I'm not sure if it set properly..

Just be extremely cautious in Yaw, and when accelerating/decelerating...

Thanks Greg. I've done all that, however I still need the speed in the Rudder... so I've actually got that bumped up to .45 I just need that YAW to slow down. I think that's the YAW Endpoint Sensitivity setting? Can anyone confirm?

Yes, Yaw Endpoint under Sensitivity will slow down the Yaw rate... But, it's still pretty fast in Sports mode even at 50%..

I have mine at .25 but not in Sport mode. Just keep turning it down until you get the desired results. As an alternative (tough when you are on site for a shoot) you could try to rig up a "limit" on the stick so that it simply can't move more than say 10 degrees left or right. Amazing what you can fabricate out of Popsicle sticks and duct tape in very short order.
