recently i feel my Air 2s cant go in straight line it will drift slightly especially in some wind, today i had a shoot on a yacht in the middle of the sea and yes it was a bit windy, i struggled to go in a straight line towards the yacht or even maintaining a stable hover in some locations, i tried to lock on to as little as 16 satellites in White GPS signal color. Here are some examples:-

here you can see clearly how the drone is drifting to the LEFT despite trying to go back on a straight line !....

i cant send my drone to DJi am living in the UAE, but we have a certified technicians over here, just wondering if i should send it to them or tell them what exactly ??...

as a side question, why was i told here on the forums the air 2s has Aperture: f/2.8 ?? while in the dji app it clearly says fixed aperture is @ F 2.4 ????? and will i see a big difference in low light if i upgrade to Air 3s despite having same sensor size ??

thanks,

Just looking at the flag on the bow of the yacht the wind was a factor but someone would have to read the logs to confirm. I also wondered if it was stick drift caused by poor storage of the remote. If the remote is stored with the sticks still attached and uncovered they go off centre making control difficult.

If you fly in wind you get.......wind effect. the Drone is gonna be affected by it. My Air2S doesnt do well in the wind especially a gusty wind. The amount of SATS you have has nothing to do with the Drones Stability in the Wind.
You should Fly at a greater distance from people in these conditions and never directly over them.

I'm not sure there is such a thing, but the logs he mentioned are the recorded flight data in the app.

To post your flight data there are a couple of options ...

1. Go to DJI Flight Log Viewer | Phantom Help
Follow the instructions there to upload your flight record from your phone or tablet.
That will give you a detailed report on the flight data.
Come back and post a link to the report it provides and someone might be able to analyse it and give you an understanding of the cause of the incident.
or
2. Just post the .txt file here
or
3. If you use Airdata, you can view the flight data on Airdata and post a link for the Airdata report

If you are using one of the controllers with an integrated screen, the txt files are to be found here:
Android\data\dji.go.v5\files\FlightRecord

Have you run the controller calibration to check the operation of the sticks and wheels? Yes: the sticks can give false output readings and it's a good idea to regularly check that the stick input you're putting into the controller is the same as the command being transmitted to the drone... especially when your flight requires fine manoeuvreing or brings the drone close to objects and people.
