Does anyone know if you make a claim with State Farm drone insurance if it affects your home and vehicle policies?

Absolutely, homeowners. Nothing to do with auto. I had some stuff stolen out of my car worth about what a Mavic costs and it’s under homeowners not auto.

Any home owners claim counts against you. I’d be better off if they stole my whole car cause THAT doesn’t count against you and goest under auto which has a lower deductible.

Check with your agent, I was told by my agent in NY state that a Personal Articles Policy for your drone is a separate policy from Home owners. A claim on a PAP policy would not effect my Homeowners rate. One of the main reasons I purchased the policy. Also zero deductible. Coverage may very from state to state.

I apologize. I usually answer threads based on my own experience and I failed to account for the fact that different States have different rules regarding insurance. Like the previous poster said talk to your agent only way to know.
