Strobe VLOS range test summary- day and night

So ...if you have 107....despite weight, any drone you would use for other than recreational use requires registration...it is a cumbersome set of rules to wade through
Indeed, it is, but it's mostly navigable.

The 107 rules provide some additional flexibility, particularly regarding altitude, and I wanted one of my birds to be able to legally take advantage of that.

Ah my mistake, sorry. I had the impression you, the person, was the registered entity.

I think that's right for *recreational* registration. I think the way it works is that you get one registration number for ALL of your recreational drones, which means in effect YOU are being registered.

If you have your 107 license, though, it's not obvious why you would register any over-250-gram drone as recreational.

Can any of you think of a scenario where that would make sense?

Thx,
