Having another go at a full sunset. Last one ran short and wasnt great. Camera settings constantly changing plus a battery change halfway through
Wish me luck
Anxious to see what you get. Don’t get discouraged.
I’m still trying to get a really good one... the last thing I do on every flying day. I figure persistence will eventually put me in the right place at the right time.
I ended up with close to 2000 pics. Landed twice for battery changes.
Will start processing tomorrow night as I have had a couple of beers now and feel to relaxed to start.
Plus I have to read up on how to use ‘key framing”
Turned out a bit of a fail. My first effort was better.
I thought I had locked camera settings but had not. End result has way to much flickering jumps between exposures. I tried to fix in Lightroom but wasn’t successful. I’m sure with more time it could be done but with so raw files I decided to dump this one and I’ll try again. Biggest pain is we are not permitted to fly at night here in Australia without approval, and these usually need 10 days to go through. So I’ll try again in a couple of weeks.
I am posting this effort, and hopefully next time I’ll get it more “dialed”
