I am just starting to learn Waypoints 2 on my M2P. I have pre-programmed several missions. I can launch the drone, switch to Waypoints, load the mission from the library, press record, and press GO. All fine. But when the mission completes, and is hovering, I want to load the next mission and try it. Without landing. I can't find an icon to do that. If I click the big red X, I get a popup that says "Cancel or exit". If I click exit, nothing happens, and I can't get out of Waypoint mode at all. I'm probably missing something obvious, but it sure seems like you should be able to switch missions, or even switch to a different flight mode, in the middle of a single flight. Thanks very much for any help!

Best thing to do there is to switch into sport mode and switch back to P-GPS mode. You can do this quickly if you’d like. This will cancel waypoint mode and give back manual control. From there you can switch back into waypoint mode.

The red x should do the same thing but honestly it’s actually quicker to do sport mode

Thanks! I will give that a try this evening. I impressed so far with what is possible. I do wish there was a way to create the mission on a bigger screen (like my laptop) and then transfer it to my mobile device. I am fat-fingering the interface pretty often! Thanks again.

You can get Litchi which is an invaluable app. I’d recommend it to everyone. Waypoints are much much better in Litchi and you can set it up on a computer and then transfer

Being able to use a computer to define the mission is a big deal for me. Do you use it all of the time, or just for Waypoints?
I both Litchi and DJI Go 4. I probably use DJI Go 4 out of habit more than anything... usually when I realize what I’m doing I change to Litchi

I love and use Litchi a lot in my commercial projects.
The best reason why is how well Litchi keeps the camera on the POI:

Notice that the controller is at my side - it's ALL Litchi waypoints mission.
This was shot with the old Phantom 3 4K but I mostly fly Mavic Pro.

Very nice. Thanks for the advice. You guys have convinced me! I have created a mission with about 15 waypoints and 6 POIs (on my computer) and will try it later today on the M2P. Thanks again for taking the time to help me!

With Litchi, once onsite, make certain that the phone that you are using on your controller is logged in to Litchi Mission Hub so that the Litchi app can access/load the mission in the field that you created at at home.

Ok, thanks. I use an iPad with my controller (with no in-the-field internet connection) so I was planning to load the mission before I go out. If I do that, is there any reason for the iPad/Controller to be connected to Mission Hub onsite?

There should be no problem .... if you're sure that the mission is there. Test it by shutting down and then starting up again at home to confirm its there.
I sometimes work with multiple drones and teams that may need to fly the same mission, so THEY log in to my Mission Hub in the field to get the missions as necessary.

Good advice. Just one drone, but counting my computer I guess that's two instances to keep in sync. It sure was nice to create the missions on a 24" monitor with a mouse instead of my fingers on a tiny iOS screen. Thanks....

That worked very nicely. I programmed 3 missions, ranging from 5 to 15 waypoints, and all 3 performed as instructed. That's not to say I had every waypoint composed perfectly! But the app worked well. Took me a minute to locate the icons I needed on the screen ... different locations from DJI Go 4. So today I am editing all 3 missions and will try them again tonight. I really like doing my edits at my desk with a 24" monitor and a mouse. Thanks for all of the advice. I doubt I use Litchi for everything, but certainly I will for Waypoint-based missions. I have a Smart Controller on backorder. I wonder if Litchi will do as well on that platform.
