After reading all to posts and discussion about restrictions it gotten to the point where reasonably well educated people and common sense can no longer make sense of the rules and regulations. Everyone starts to talk about leaving the city where they want to fly and take to the country where there are only trees and such to film.

Well that just blows. Yes the odds of having an incident are very low but how many pictures do you need of a pine Forrest. Hell I want to see the world through the eyes of someone else's drown. I have gone to the Netherlands, Germany, South America, china, etc. through others eyes. I had no idea of what some of these places were like.

But it's just getting out of control. What's to come. Will our governments just restrict companies like DJI from making drones with their capabilities. All they have to do is restrict distance and altitude. Would you fly if you could only go to say 200 ft in altitude and 200 ft distance away. Probably not. Racers would still be okay.

I think los covers it pretty well but it seems like most want to take it to the extreme. Miles where you can't see it or what's happening. Everyone want FPV googles and fly out to the range that their machine will go.

We need to get a grip or they will restrict us out of existence. We need to oppose bad restrictions and make plain understandable laws that work for all.

I can go on and on till the cows come home but I won't. I'll stop here and give you all a chance to think and digest.

Fly safe but fly on.

Interesting, when you mention Netherlands,Germany,South America,Etc You aren't necessarily talking about the tourist attactions, What I find worth watching is oftentimes people are showing you their backyards or their neighborhoods or community. I have been fortunate enough to have seen many of the " hotspots " but not enough of the real life settings. To see how similar we really are regardless of where we live. In short; This was a long-winded way of saying Good Point!

I think the country side is beautiful, I don't mind watching videos shot in the mountains and such, its some times better than seeing the concrete jungle.
