Time to upgrade

My I-pad mini 4 had a stroke and now has a 5 second delay . What is a good iPad that will control DJI ‘s fly app’s . All I use it for is DJI Fly and DJI GO4 .

Not sure why you'd buy an iPad Mini 5 when an iPad 10.2 (which is what I use) is available directly from Apple right now for only 10% more.

I live in northern Alberta , so you can be picky sometimes . When my mini 4 crapped out this is all that I could get in less then 3 weeks

I did some experimenting . The only way to get things all running and ready to fly is to go in this one sequence .
1. Start controller
2 plug in iPad
3 start fly app
Power up drone

Any other way it can take 5-10 minutes before the iPad gives a live picture .
I will try replacing my fly app with one from DJI website
