So I replaced the top cover of my Mavic platinum.
The serial sticker is still on the old cover.

What’s the best way to remove it and transfer it to the new cover

Often times the adhesive can be softened by heat. Wash hands so there's no oil on your finger skin. Use a hair dryer to gently heat the surface and use a knife tip to lift a corner of the sticker. If it doesn't lift, heat some more - if it's not too hot for your hand, it won't be too hot to damage the plastic. When a corner lifts, use your fingernail to pinch the sticker between it and the knife tip. When the sticker lifts, you can grasp it between you fingers and continue to pull slowly at right angle to surface. If sticker starts to tear, stop and try another corner.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Thanks for asking.
I like the heat idea.

All done and dusted. Worked surprisingly well with the hairdryer
