Trestles Surf Spot. Trestles is, for many surfers, the best surf spot in the world. There are many reasons why riders pick the Californian break as their favourite wave.
Lower Trestles means consistency, all-round fun, a classic reef/point break, perfect peeling left and right-handers, easy paddle-outs and endless wave faces.
San Onofre State Beach is, de facto, a virgin surf sanctuary. Located a few miles away from San Clemente, Lower Trestles is surfers' paradise. If you would have to grab a wave peak to heaven, this would be it.
Lower Trestle resembles an artificial wave. The peak is perfectly positioned and, with pristine wind and swell conditions, you can train old and new school surf with short and longer surfboards.

Spend some time on learning some fluid video flying techniques. Fast pans just give your viewers headaches. Watch the sun location -- don't shoot straight into it. Try shooting in 4K so you can zoom into the center of the shot in post and make the surfers (or actually just one, ideally) fill the frame. And don't fly close overhead of the surfers -- you're ruining their experience and it's a dangerous practice. If you shoot off to one side from a lower perspective, you'll get a higher impact shot anyways.
