Hi
New member here. I have owned my mini2 se drone for just over a year and have had no issues regarding any connection problems.
I had it out yesterday and initially it was flying as usual with no issues. Once the first battery had run down a bit I fitted a new battery and set off again. After a few minutes the drone 'fell' out the sky. Luckily it was only about 6m height and landed on heather, so no damage. I set it up again, keeping it low and again, after about 150m away, again at about 6m height, it lost contact and fell out the sky .
On retrieval, and looking at the drone and controller I noticed it said it was unable to connect with any satellites and I should 'fly with caution' I was in a wide open area in the countryside with no tall structures or trees, etc to interfere with any signal.
Anyway I packed up and went home. Once home I tried to connect, but again nothing. Same thing this morning, unable to connect to satellite, fly with caution.
Is there any reset I can do to try and resolve this.
Thanks in advance
Jimmy

Edit to add the controller is showing code 30008, if this helps diagnosis

Is Heather O.K.?!
You don't necessarily have a "broken" GPS but the one you have is having trouble there..Perhaps interference at that location?
If the problem persists at other places then you can try to re-flash all firmware first if that won't do it you need a new GPS.

This sounds like a problem.
It's not normal for drones to fall from the sky.
You say that your drone lost contact and fell.
Losing contact doesn't cause a drone to fall.
But losing power does and when power is lost, there is no signal.

No .. there is no reset you can do to fix rhis.
Given that this happened after the drone crashed, th eissue is either a broken GPS antenna or a broken connection to the GPS unit.
Your drone needs a repair to fix the GPS and to solve the losing power problem..

One thing you didn’t mention after trying back at home if you changed the battery again.

It’s possible the battery you replaced after your first flight is suspect.

Loss of GPS has already been discussed.
